Jeremiah rides with two wheels. . .

Yes, thats right. Two wheels.

February has come and is going.

(Sorry it has been so long)Jeremiah is sounding out words, writing his last name. Finding that while the C in Cat sounds the same as the K in King, they are very different letters. It really is a dirty trick.I had two flat tires.  Got a new phone. Completely ignored Valentines day. We are both healthy and happy. Life is life. My battery is about dead, so I will end there. Hoping to return sooner than later.

Finally…

New team…

I have a new team at work… (And I’m the leader)
I am very fond of my new team:
Amanda
Ashley
Baruch
Wes
(In alphabetical order -so I  appear to have no favorites)

I like them so much…  I might need to include a group photo.

Speaking of photos, Jeremiah got his school picture taken.
I’m not thrilled. He is incredibly photogenic-
why can’t a professional get a good one?

I am still planning on showing the proof of his name writing.
I have not forgotten I just can’t find my printer/scanner.

Oh- I moved. Yay– for saving money!

–Yellow vests and what they mean to me–

I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner-

Jeremiah and I were at the 4-6 pm set at IHOP today.
He did really good for – well- a little while.
We took a few trips out of the room to talk/adjust behavior.
He prayed on the mic!
He loved it and wants to do it everyday.

But then he wanted to leave.
We talked about how I was in charge,
and how we weren’t leaving,
and how he needed to stop crying,
and how he needed to behave,
and how we should be praying and talking to God.

When finally I saw an usher in a bright yellow vest.
Ding. I know my son, this will matter to him.
Then we talked about how they are in charge of the prayer room,
and how you can get in trouble for not behaving in the prayer room,
and how if you take your shoes off in the prayer room they will make you put them back on,
and how if you are disturbing other people they will ask you to stop,
and how if he wanted we could talk to one of them about his behavior.

And then we didn’t have to talk about behavior anymore.
So thank you Mike Baker- and thank you IHOP ushers.
One more reason we appreciate the yellow vests.

-Words-

Words are a big deal to me,
the use, the meaning, the concept of expression through chosen words.

I think that is why I like psalms so much.
I love to see the translation of the actual words used.

New systems and amazing grace.

The Prayer Room has experienced a serious
media remodel.

Which means we (Media apprentices)
have a totally new system to learn.
Live 24/7.

It is an incredible system
that once the bugs are worked out
will run smooth
and beautifully.
In the mean time,
we learn
in front of many
many viewers.

Anyone remember…

How much I like my daily routine?
My day to day?

I have just gotten word that it is about to change.
I have officially 3 days to get used to it.

I’m sure it will be good, and I have an incredible opportunity.
It is just more change I wasn’t exactly expecting.

Not to mention I have been having trouble with the whole get
Jeremiah in and ‘into’ the prayer room.

God is good.
He is.
And His ways are perfect.

Remember that.

I find that I do not have the ability to be in the prayer room as often as I would like.
How can I manage my time better so that I get the sets I want,
or at least some of the sets I want?

And how much can I really expect Jeremiah to be in there?
And who can answer these questions for me?

Some people…

think it is a good thing to decorate a kitchen with cows.
Or a bathroom with fish.

I am not one of those people.
I do however think it is ok to wear black gym shoes.
And do…. often.

I forgot a picture and clever note.
